SM Digital Ventures is based in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch. This page documents the collaborations we take part in — recorded as they happen, without embellishment.
Approach
We believe technology can be built from communities, not simply for them.
Each collaboration below records what was asked for, what SM Digital Ventures contributed and what came of it. Where we do not yet have measured outcomes, we say so rather than estimating them.

OngoingWebsite design, development and ongoing support
SM Digital Ventures designed and built Imveli's website, which developed into a longer-term collaborative relationship with the organisation.
Imveli Research, Training & Awareness is a non-profit organisation working in research, training and community awareness.
The organisation needed a credible online presence that could explain its work to partners, funders and the communities it serves.
The work began as a single website project and continued as an ongoing working relationship.
Decisions about content and presentation are made together with the Imveli team.
The organisation now has a digital presence it controls and can point partners to. We have not measured outcomes beyond that, and will only publish impact figures once they are recorded together with Imveli.
